Queens County occurs as county in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.
Liverpool, the county seat of Queens County, was founded inside 1759 by Just released England Planters. Based mostly by Just released England settlers, Liverpool maintained hard ties sustaining a U.s. colonies until a eruption of the American Revolution. In July 21, 1762 a Lieutenant Governor & Council of Nova Scotia declared that "the Townships of Liverpool, Barrington and Yarmouth together with the intermediate lands should be erected into a county by the name of Queens County". Lunenburg was reduced in size whenever Queens County was established. Inside 1784 Queens County was diminished within extent by having a establishment of Shelburne County. Shelburne County was cut off from either Queens County. A boundaries of a fresh county & the boundaries of the older county were established by The correct sequence-within-Council December 16, 1785.
